Like ocean waves
returning
slowly
building
slapping gently
stroking
licking shores
and sliding
slipping into crevices
soothing burning surfaces
and filling caves
with freshness
Pulling out
withdrawing
gaining strength
momentum
lifting
soaring -
force and power roaring
hovering -
then crashing hard
and finding
entering
and penetrating
secret entrances
and walkways
to a hidden sanctum
deep within
the shore
And flowing rivers meet
in turbulence
and swirling
round and round
and rising
filling
all the rooms
with waves caressing
walls embracing
holding all!
for just one moment -
Then they burst
disintegrate
and waves
are taking everything away -
back into that ocean
where it all had started from
waves retrieving
one by one
each part
and lingering
a resonance
a chord
of frequences in tune
a telling
of what was
will come again
and yet again
like waves of currents
in that sea
returning
Such is that love you bring to me
