Once Tone Aanderaa had the great fortune to experience tiny little newborn snails. It inspired a long series of ‘snail painings’:

• Arrival,
• Skogstur, and
• Shell House.

Tone Aanderaa became absolutely enthralled with the beauty of their shells, their slow-slow movement, the sense of peace and also the humour they seem to emit.
