Waterfalls are known for their musical spirits and magic in Norwegian stories and lore.

Every morning, for many years, Tone Aanderaa stopped at this very special waterfall, a perfect place to start the day and ponder the dawn. The waterfall changes with the seasons – from full, rich and overflowing through the spring and summer, to barely a trickle through the cold and dark winter – and sometimes appearing as a most fantastic icicle organ. Always magical though – and filled with stories.

One that came to her was about a ‘Dream Goat’ trying to find the ‘other side’, lead by feelings appearing as butterflies…dancing on the music of the waterfall – of course.
